Sean Carrie is a proud 4th generation Victorian.  He grew up on the Saanich Peninsula in the village of Brentwood Bay where his parents still live in the same house. After living in a few different cities and seeing the world, Sean couldn’t even be paid to live anywhere other than Vancouver Island. He feels honoured to be a Realtor in his own hometown. Vancouver Island is part of his family’s heritage, and he wants to help make it part of yours.

In his early 20’s Sean pursued his dream of becoming a record producer and enrolled in a highly acclaimed music college in Vancouver. The same people who produced some of his favourite bands like Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel and the Red Hot Chili Peppers were the same that mentored him. Sean’s hard work was quickly noticed and was asked to work on an album with an instructor he held in high regard. This project later awarded Sean with a Certified Canadian Gold Record. While this had always been a dream of his, Sean was more enthused he had the opportunity to work with one of his favourite bands.



While in Vancouver Sean also completed a business program where he discovered a natural talent for marketing.  From psychology to graphic design he enjoyed researching the science behind the field of marketing while being also being able to apply his creativity.  For the few years after college he managed a boutique recording studio, worked with handfuls of bands and producers, and was even at one point contracted to design and build a private recording facility with the help of his construction-savvy father.  Although Sean was doing what he loved he began to realize that what he wanted most was a life back on Vancouver Island.


Wanting to have a fulfilling career, upon his return to Victoria Sean became a licensed Emergency Medical Responder with the intention of progressing to a paramedic.  As job contracts quickly led him further away from home he once again found himself homesick; you could say Sean’s stubborn love for Victoria brought him back again.  He later resigned and relinquished his license.  To this day he has never been happier to call Victoria home and couldn’t be more proud to offer real estate services on his home soil.

With a lifetime of memories in Victoria he’d be lying if he said he’s never sobbed when an old building or tree is thrown to the wayside for a new development. He strives to pay homage to the history of this beautiful city that people love so much. That being said, Sean can’t help but get excited about upcoming projects and embraces the many improvements being made to make room for newcomers.


Working in his hometown it’s obvious his best interest is in maintaining and establishing lasting relationships within his community. He has an upbeat and genuine personality that immediately makes people feel at ease; Sean is quick to gain trust through his determination for transparency.  He is dedicated to providing the best experience possible and wants to help others achieve their piece of paradise here in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia. He is proud to be a member of Pemberton Holmes – established in 1887 – which is the oldest brokerage on the continent.

To stay sane, Sean is an avid gardener and can be best described as a hoarder of house-plants.  He is also the proud owner of a bountiful raised-bed veggie garden, of which he recently built with his girlfriend.  Some could say his thumbs are a very dark shade of green.  As a hobbyist, Sean still regularly plays music at home and recently has taken an interest in learning to compose for film.  In addition – and without surprise – he is a fanatic of hi-fi stereo equipment and is what some would call an Audiophile.  As an obsessed record collector you’ll often find him hunched over dusty milk crates in unflattering poses.
